Seeing a film on the silver screen is more commonly associated with popcorn and king-sized bags of candy than fitness. It probably always will be, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a hint of motivation hiding behind all that action. Case and point: who doesn’t want to go for a run, museum steps optional, when they hear the Rocky theme song?

The truth is motivation, especially related to exercise, isn’t always easy to come by, so we’ll take it anywhere we can get it. Generally, we advocate getting up and moving as much as possible, but if a movie can inspire you to move, so be it. All it takes is the right movie.
