How often do you think about what’s in your gym bag? For many of us, our bags are probably packed zipper to zipper with all of our favorite workout essentials. I know I couldn’t get through my fitness routine without a hair tie, my iPod shuffle and a pre-workout snack.
Like many, we believe it’s important to fuel the body prior to exercise and know working out with a growling stomach is anything but pleasant. However, as soon as we’re done running the last lap or lifting the final rep, sometimes we forget our stomachs need some more love.
