Keep Hydrated with Fruits & Veggies

The last days of August have a way of crawling slowly on by as the sun blazes down from above. Sometimes it’s just about all we can do to sneak in a few gulps of water as the opportunities present themselves. However, keeping hydrated is not only beneficial to your overall health; it can also affect your performance at the gym.

Making sure you drink plenty of water before, during and after exercise helps to regulate body temperature and transport nutrients for energy. Both are important factors when it comes to your workout. If you aren’t properly hydrated before a sweat session, you may experience symptoms such as fatigue, muscle cramps or dizziness.

Remedy dehydration by keeping a water bottle by your side at all times and by adding a few of these water-packed fruits and veggies to your plate.
