How to Eat Breakfast On-The-Go

Not matter what time you wake up, weekday mornings tend to be their fair share of stressful. It begins with a blaring alarm clock and usually ends with a mad dash to your car in effort to leave the house by 7:32 because it takes you exactly 28 minutes to make it to work. Oh and did you remember to eat breakfast?

For those of you who might be thinking who has time for breakfast, I barely have time to pick out matching socks in the morning, we’re here to help. Breakfast certainly is the most important meal of the day and really shouldn’t be skipped. If possible, prep your breakfast the evening before to eliminate unnecessarily rushing around in the morning.

Here are a few of our favorite breakfasts that can be eaten on-the-go or at your desk once you make it to work.

–          Yogurt with fruit and granola

–          Oatmeal with fruit and/or peanut butter

–          Homemade egg sandwich

–          Whole wheat toast with peanut butter, banana and cinnamon 

–          Whole wheat toast with avocado and a dash of salt and pepper

–          Homemade smoothies
