Choose to be Thankful for Health This Year

There’s always something to be thankful for and this time of year especially, it’s nice to remember all the reasons we’ve been so blessed. Whether it’s being grateful for friends/family, a job or a roof over your head, nothing is too big or too small to appreciate – especially when it comes to our health.

Being healthy means something different to everyone, but it’s equally important to celebrate all of our accomplishments. Whether you got a PR at a race, lost weight or gained control over a chronic disease, take a minute this year and simply be thankful for your health because the road to our healthiest selves is not one that’s easily traveled.

While we feature some amazing transformations on our website, we want to highlight a special story about a Charter Fitness personal trainer named Suzi.

Suzi began her fitness journey with a single step, literally. She knew walking would take her down the path to better health, so that’s what she did. Fast forward a few years and Suzi had lost more than one hundred pounds by creating new healthy habits. Determined to help others do the same, she became a certified personal trainer. Way to go, Suzi!
