Charter Fitness Franchising LLC has been approved to franchise its Charter Fitness Health Club brand nationally.   Upon announcement of the approval on September 1, 2011, 38 Cardinal Fitness locations in Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana andCentral Illinoiswere converted to Charter Fitness, bringing the number of Charter Fitness locations to 46 in six states.
